10 Minute Photoshoot Make-Up

I love a simple makeup look. Sure, getting ultra-glam is fun every now & then; but, a natural look with a pop is a MUST HAVE! This look took me less than 10 minutes & I’lll be keeping it on the rotation for my shoots. For how I styled my hair, be sure to check my previous blog post! I was not given any products below for free, nor have I been paid to promote them.

  1. Primer (Make sure your skin is clean before applying.) After applying, let it sit for about a minute to soak in. Remember, PAT your primer on- don’t rub.
  2. Use a beauty blender & apply this foundation. Skip under your eyes or it can get cakey.
  3. Blend this liquid highlighter under eyes (apply in an upside-down triangle under your eyes), on the bridge of your nose, and just above your cupids bow under your nose. A little goes a long way with this one.
  4. Use “Seychelles” from this palette in “Golden Sands” as a shadow on your lid. And pat it in the inner corners of your eyes to brighten them up.
  5. Do your best cat eye (top only) with my favorite liquid liner. (Don’t use this on the bottom.) Don’t worry it doesn’t have to be perfect because you’re going to smudge it.  Now use my favorite pencil liner in black to go over the pointy edge of your cat eye, line the bottom outer half, then smudge the pointy edge with this brush.
  6. Now time for the lashes. I’ve used the same two products for over 10 years & I’ll go to the grave with them. Prime your lashes then top with mascara. (Do one eye at a time.)
  7. If you need to fill in your brows a bit, use this with this brush. Then use brow gel to brush up so your brows have a little texture.
  8. Couple of drops of this (shade is “sunlight”) across your cheek bones and blend it in.  Now pat “Tahiti” from your palette in step 4 on your cheeks & “Seychelles” on your nose, chin, & forehead.
  9. Line your lips with this in “Bow n Arrow” then use this lipstick in the same shade. Lastly, tap your lips with my favorite lip gloss.
  10. Spritz a little setting spray & you’re golden, babe. (Spray it in the air & let it fall on your face, don’t spray it straight onto your face.)
